The golden era of Bollywood- the 90s
When it comes to Bollywood music we and our parents always have a argument. For us it is the 2000s but for our parents the era of 90's Bollywood is gold! So let's take a look who ruled the 90's Bollywood music...
Kumar Sanu
Kumar Sanu became the voice of the 90s. He hogged limelight through his romantic songs in the movie, Aashiqui. Almost all movies of the 90s had at least one Kumar Sanu song in it. He never got stereotyped, as Kumar Sanu sang songs of different genres. From ‘Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein’ to ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jana Sanam’, he landed his voice to the most iconic songs of the 90s. We hum his songs even now.
Udit narayan
With songs like ‘Ruk Ja O Dil Deewani’, ‘Pehla Nasha’ and ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, Udit Narayan became the most sought-after singer. His voice added light-heartedness and emotions in every song that he sang. He playbacked a lot of songs for Shahrukh Khan. Even we feel like his voice suits SRK the best.
